Requesting personalized quote comparisons, reviewing current policies, or consulting with our licensed staff is provided at no direct charge to consumers. We do not bill or collect consultation fees from clients.

2. Carrier Premium Refunds & Cancellation Rules

Because policies are underwritten and issued directly by our partner insurance carriers, all premium billing, cancellation rights, and refund calculations are governed by the specific terms in your carrier policy contract:

• Statutory Free Look Period: Participating insurance carriers typically provide a 14 to 30-day "free look" period beginning on the policy effective date. If you elect to cancel coverage within this window without an active claim filed, you are generally entitled to a full 100% refund of premiums remitted.
• Mid-Term Policy Cancellations: If you cancel an active policy following the expiration of the free look period, unused premiums are typically refunded on a pro-rata basis (or subject to standard short-rate calculations established by state insurance regulations).
• Pending or Paid Claims: In instances where a loss claim has already been filed or settled during the active policy term, premium refund calculations may be adjusted according to applicable state insurance guidelines and underwriter contract terms.
